Streaming Service Terms & Conditions

These terms are a legal agreement between you (“you”, the “Creator”) and Real View TV Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16284963) (“we”, “us”, “Real View”). They govern your use of the Real View streaming service, control panel, cameras, bridge hardware and related tools (together, the “Service”) to publish live camera feeds, streams and other content (your “Content”) to the Real View application and its related surfaces (the “App”).
By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these terms in full. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
We provide tools to ingest, host, transcode, store, distribute and display your Content on the App. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may add, change, suspend, limit or withdraw any part of the Service — including any feature, camera, stream, plan or piece of your Content — at any time, with or without notice, and without liability to you.
You must be at least 18 and, where you sign up on behalf of a business or organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it to these terms. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for everything done under your account. You must give accurate information and keep it up to date. We may refuse, suspend or close any account at our discretion.
This is the core of our arrangement. By submitting, streaming or otherwise making Content available through the Service, you grant Real View TV Ltd a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sub-licensable and transferable licence to receive, ingest, host, store, encode, transcode, adapt, reproduce, publicly perform, publicly display, communicate, broadcast, distribute and otherwise use your Content, in whole or in part, for the purposes of operating, providing, developing, marketing and promoting the Service and the App.
This licence expressly permits us to display your Content on the Real View App in both residential and commercial locations — including, without limitation, private homes, and commercial or public settings such as care homes, hospices, hospitals, doctors' and dentists' waiting rooms, receptions, hotels, bars, restaurants, offices, retail and leisure venues and other screens open to staff, customers, patients or the public.
The licence also allows us to create and use derived media from your Content — including thumbnails, previews, clips, highlights, timelapses, cinematic edits and promotional material — and to display such derived media within the App, in our marketing, and on third-party platforms in order to promote the Service. The licence continues for as long as your Content is on the Service and, for material we have already distributed, cached or used in derived media, survives termination to the extent necessary.
Some features and plans are paid; others may be free at our discretion. We reserve the right to introduce, set, vary or remove charges for use of the Real View App and the Service at any time — whether the use is residential or commercial. We may monetise the App and your Content as we see fit, including through subscriptions, licensing to residential or commercial operators, sponsorship and advertising.
Any revenue we receive from residential or commercial use of the App is ours to keep. You are not entitled to any share of it unless we have agreed a separate revenue arrangement with you in writing and signed by us. Fees paid to us are non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise. We may change plan pricing on reasonable notice.
You retain ownership of your Content, subject to the licence above. You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights, consents and permissions necessary to grant that licence and to publish the Content, and that the Content and its capture and display:
You are solely responsible for your Content and for obtaining any consents required from people or property owners appearing in it. We are a neutral conduit and do not endorse or accept responsibility for your Content.
You must not use the Service to:
We may review, approve, reject, moderate, re-order, relabel, refuse, remove or take down any Content, camera or stream at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without notice or reason, and without liability to you. Approval of Content for the App is granted at our discretion and may be withdrawn.
We do not guarantee that the Service or the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure or available at any particular time. We may carry out maintenance, and streams may be delayed, interrupted or unavailable. We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime, delivery failures, data loss or reduced quality.
The Service, the App, our software, hardware designs, and the “Real View” and related names and logos are owned by us or our licensors. These terms grant you no rights in them beyond the limited right to use the Service while these terms are in force. Any feedback you give us may be used by us freely and without obligation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, conditions and terms implied by statute, common law or otherwise, including any implied terms as to satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and reasonable skill and care. Any hardware we supply is covered only by the specific warranty (if any) provided with it.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that:
You will indemnify and hold harmless Real View TV Ltd, its officers, employees and agents against all claims, liabilities, losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or connected with your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these terms or of any law or third-party right.
We may suspend or terminate your account or access to the Service at any time, for any reason or none, with or without notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination, your licence to use the Service ends, we may remove or stop delivering your Content, and any fees already paid are non-refundable. Terms which by their nature should survive (including the licence in clause 3 to the extent stated, and clauses on liability and indemnity) continue after termination.
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Where your Content contains personal data of others, you are the controller of that data and are responsible for complying with data-protection law; we act as your processor solely to provide the Service.
We may change these terms at any time. The current version will always be available here. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
These terms are the entire agreement between us on their subject matter. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You may not assign or transfer your rights without our consent; we may assign or transfer ours freely. Neither party is liable for events beyond its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
